Our Sleep Center Lab
When you come to Central Virginia Sleep Center for your sleep test, you will experience a comfortable and relaxed environment. It's very similar to a hotel night's stay. You will stay overnight, and we will monitor your sleep stages. An EEG monitor will track your sleep cycles of REM and nonREM or NREM sleep you go through during the night, to distinguish possible disruptions in your sleep pattern. Most patients fall asleep during an in-lab study. In most cases, you will not need a full eight hours of sleep for our doctor to provide you with a diagnosis.
